3rd Annual Charlie Fidler Golf Day Saturday, September 07, 2013

September ‘teed’ off with the return of the now annual Charlie Fidler Golf Day. The popular golf event was hosted at the West Herts Golf Club, with 10 teams participating this year. It was another fine day of golf, in beautiful weather, followed by a meal in the clubhouse and an auction to finish. £3000 was raised for Anaphylaxis Research.

2nd Annual Charlie Fidler Memorial Football Tournament Sunday, July 07, 2013

The now annual Memorial youth football tournament was held on a beautiful summer’s day in July. The day began with a red and white balloon release for Charlie and a few words from our Trustee Kyle. The matches were then underway. The Hemel Town Youth boys played valiantly, but the Arsenal Academy finally came out as victors over HHTY Reds.  A breakfast barbeque, teas & coffees and a raffle raised a fantastic £800, this sum being donated as in the previous year to local charity KitAid. Charlie’s Gift 80s Disco Friday, July 05, 2013

Dodgy perms, hi-lighted mullets and neon leg warmers can mean only one thing…the 80s are back! Well at least for one space-dusted night of cheesy tunes, and dubious dance moves any way… Over eighty guests joined in the themed party night on Saturday 6th July 2013 to strut their stuff to 80s disco classics such as Duran Duran, The Human League and Wham to name but a few; all in aid of Cruse Bereavement Care, Hertfordshire. Charlie’s 11th Birthday Family Disco Saturday, November 17, 2012

Family and friends of Charlie gathered together on 17th November 2012 to mark Charlie’s 11th birthday. Parents and kids alike danced the night away at the fantastic disco. A sweet shop, kids glitter tattoos and face paints all added to the fun party atmosphere. The birthday celebration raised £1,500 for The Bailey Sarwa Appeal.
