On 5th and 6th December 2013 'Charlie's Heroes' took to their bikes to repeat their successful ride of 2011.
A 20 strong-team of cyclists headed up by Jason battled icy winds, potholes, brambles and disgruntled swans to cycle 130-miles from Birmingham to Hemel Hempstead along the unforgiving Grand Union canal towpaths.
Many punctures and several ‘dips’ in the canal later, their heroic fundraising efforts totalled an amazing £11,024.77 For Charlie’s Gift. Thanks guys for your continued support!
Charlie’s Heroes took to their bikes to ride the gruelling 130-mile stretch of canal towpaths from Hemel Hempstead to Birmingham to raise funds for The Anaphylaxis Campaign. The Anaphylaxis Campaign provides vital support and advice to people with severe allergies to help them manage their condition and stay well.
Our mighty ‘Trojans’ of the towpaths raised an incredible £13,800 in Charlie’s memory!
